The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Porum Panthers (Porum, OK) and the host Vian Wolverines (Vian, OK), saw Porum's softball squad topple Vian by a score of 16-3.

With the triumph, Porum improves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Panthers host McCurtain (McCurtain, OK) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 8-6.

The Wolverines now hold a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Quapaw for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 11. Vian will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-7.
