Spectators at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Raytown Bluejays (Raytown, MO) and the host Raytown South Cardinals (Raytown, MO), saw Raytown's softball squad beat Raytown South by a score of 20-0.

With the triumph, Raytown advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Platte County (Platte City, MO) to clash with the Pirates in a Class 4 District 5 bout on Monday, September 15. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Cardinals face the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians (Lee's Summit, MO) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 10. Raytown South will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Guardians enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 21-6 league win over Notre Dame de Sion (Kansas City, MO).
