The Ballard Bruins volleyball squad (Louisville, KY), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN)

With the win, Floyd Central upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Highlanders travel to New Albany (New Albany, IN) to meet the Bulldogs in a Hoosier Hills challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 6-2. New Albany won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN)

Next, the Bruins meet the Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Ballard will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 6-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY).
