California High School Volleyball - Big Valley Christian over Merced

The Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA) volleyball knocked off the host Merced Bears (Merced, CA), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

The Lions (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA). The Thunder enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Buhach Colony notched a victory over Summerville (Tuolumne, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bears battle the Summerville Bears (Tuolumne, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Merced will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 5-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA).
