Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Breck Mustangs (Minneapolis, MN), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Sting (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Math & Science Academy (Woodbury, MN). The Dragons come into the challenge with a 0-2 record.

Next, the Mustangs meet the St. Paul Academy-Summit Spartans (St. Paul, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 10. Breck will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Blake (Minneapolis, MN).
