Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA) and the visiting Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA), observed Oxford Academy's volleyball team top Cabrillo by a count of 3-0.

The Patriots (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Whitney (Cerritos, CA). The Wildcats enter the 605 battle with a 6-5 record.

The Jaguars now own a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Millikan for a Moore battle on Thursday, September 11. Cabrillo will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Compton (Compton, CA). The Rams record now stands at 13-5.
