Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD). The Cardinals come into the B Region 3 challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary beat Garretson (Garretson, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars face the Gayville-Volin Raiders (Gayville, SD) in a B Region 4 game, on Tuesday, September 16. Viborg/Hurley will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record.
