Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) and the host Crittenden County Rockets (Marion, KY), observed Christian County's volleyball team hold off Crittenden County by a count of 3-2.

The Colonels (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Webster County (Dixon, KY). The Trojans go into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Webster County tipped University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Rockets now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union County for a non-league contest on Monday, September 15.
