The Claiborne Bulldogs were victorious over the host Middlesboro Yellowjackets volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Volunteer for a AA District 2 bout on Thursday, September 11. Claiborne will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cherokee (Rogersville, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 8-3.
The Yellowjackets (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Bobcats enter the District 52 match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Bell County gained a win over Harlan (Harlan, KY), 3-0, in a league match.
