With the win, Hilltop upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Lancers host Santana (Santee, CA) to meet the Sultans in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Sultans go into the test with a record of 9-3. Santana won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA)

The Chieftains now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Foothills Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18.
