With the win, Hudson improves its record to 13-6 on the season. The Pirates travel to West Marshall (State Center, IA) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 1-5.

The Sailors now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dike-New Hartford for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. Columbus will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Union (La Porte City, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 14-3.
