California High School Volleyball - CORE Butte winner over Maxwell

The Maxwell Panthers volleyball squad (Maxwell, CA), was defeated 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting CORE Butte Lynx (Chico, CA)

With the win, CORE Butte improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Lynx travel to Oroville (Oroville, CA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 11. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 7-10. Oroville won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA)

Next, the Panthers meet the Live Oak Lions (Live Oak, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 11. Maxwell will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 7-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Marysville (Marysville, CA).
