In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Crow Creek Chieftains volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Lower Brule Sioux.

The Chieftains (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD). The Cubs go into the A Region 6 test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Chamberlain was edged by Wagner (Wagner, SD), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Sioux now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tiospaye Topa for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Lower Brule will face a Thunderhawks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 0-1.
