The Englewood Stem Panthers volleyball squad (Chicago, IL), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Julian Jaguars (Chicago, IL)

The Jaguars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Horizon Science Academy-Southwest (Chicago, IL). The Huskies enter the Chicago Public Purple South contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Horizon Science Academy-Southwest got by Dyett (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Panthers battle the South Shore International Tars (Chicago, IL) in a battle, on Thursday, September 11. Englewood Stem will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Tars go into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Phillips (Chicago, IL).
