Texas High School Volleyball - Zapata can't hold off Freer

The Freer Buckaroos held off the host Zapata Hawks volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Buckaroos now possess a 17-5 record. They play next when they host Skidmore-Tynan for a 2A Region IV District 31 bout on Tuesday, September 16.
With the loss, Zapata drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Hawks host Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX) to confront the Gators in a non-league match on Saturday, September 13. The Gators enter the match with a record of 3-6. Grulla lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Harmony School of Excellence (Laredo, TX)
