In Tuesday's non-league battle, the West Bloomfield Lakers (West Bloomfield, MI) volleyball squad got by the visiting Groves Falcons (Beverly Hills, MI), by a score of 3-2.
The Lakers (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI). The Ravens enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Royal Oak got by Lamphere (Madison Heights, MI), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Falcons now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shrine Catholic for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. Groves will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Knights record now stands at 2-6.
