In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Jefferson Grizzlies volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Hill Falcons.

The Grizzlies (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Mills (Millbrae, CA). The Vikings go into the Peninsula - Ocean test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Mills was edged by Sequoia (Redwood City, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Willow Glen for a BVAL - Santa Teresa East test on Thursday, September 11. Hill will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA). The Rams record now stands at 2-2.
