The Jersey Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Litchfield Purple Panthers to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Greene for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Jersey will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Litchfield drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Purple panthers travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL) to clash with the Hiltoppers in a South Central outing on Thursday, September 11. The Hiltoppers come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Hillsboro lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Highland (Highland, IL)
