In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Kasson-Mantorville Komets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pine Island Panthers.

The Komets (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Stewartville (Stewartville, MN). The Tigers go into the Hiawatha Valley test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Stewartville gained a win over Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN), 3-0, in a league test.

The Panthers now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chatfield for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Pine Island will play a Gophers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Caledonia (Caledonia, MN). The Gophers record now stands at 6-4.
