The Kettering Captains volleyball squad scored 3 points and held the host Walled Lake Central Vikings to 0 in the Captains league win on Tuesday.
Next up, the Captains confront the Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley game, on Thursday, September 11. Kettering will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 5-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI).
The Vikings (0-5) will now prepare for their game against South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI). The Cougars go into the Lakes Valley game with a 11-4 record. In their last game, South Lyon East went down by Milford (Highland, MI), 3-1, in a league game.

Kettering Captains came out with the fire right from the start and never looked back. Led by senior setter Emily Combs, every attacker from the captains finished with fury! The net play and defense was incredible by the Captains, tallying up blocks and digs in all three sets!
