Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Shades Valley Mounties (Birmingham, AL) and the host Leeds Greenwave (Leeds, AL), observed Shades Valley's volleyball team hold off Leeds by a count of 3-2.

The Mounties (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Oxford (Oxford, AL). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record.

The Greenwave now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corner for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. Leeds will encounter a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Clair County (Odenville, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 11-9.
