Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Perry Panthers (Perry, GA) and the host Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA), observed Perry's volleyball team top Tift County by a count of 2-0.
The Panthers (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Ware County (Waycross, GA). The Gators enter the 4A Area 1 contest with a 5-7 record.
In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 11. Tift County will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Hornets enter the contest with a 7-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Brooks County (Quitman, GA).
