Quitman County Hornets (Georgetown, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Stewart County Royal Knights (Lumpkin, GA), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Quitman County improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Hornets host Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA) to face the Red Devils in a 1A Area 1 test on Thursday, September 11. The Red Devils go into the test with a record of 0-3.

The Royal Knights now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brooks County for a 1A Area 1 test on Thursday, September 11. Stewart County will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Cook (Adel, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-4.
