South Dakota High School Volleyball - Yankton tips Roosevelt

September 9, 2025: Yankton, SD 57078

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD) and the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders (Sioux Falls, SD), observed Yankton's volleyball team hold off Roosevelt by a count of 3-2.

The Bucks/Gazelles (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Huron (Huron, SD). The Tigers enter the AA District 1 contest with a 2-5 record.

Next, the Rough Riders battle the Lincoln Patriots (Sioux Falls, SD) in a AA District 1 contest, on Thursday, September 11. Roosevelt will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD).
