North Carolina High School Basketball - Research Triangle tipped by Triangle Math & Science Academy

The Triangle Math & Science Academy Tigers edged the visiting Research Triangle Raptors basketball team by a tally of 51-47 in Friday's league game.

The Tigers now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin Academy for a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A test on Tuesday, December 16. Triangle Math & Science Academy will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 63-55 non-league win over Vance Charter (Henderson, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Research Triangle falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Raptors host Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC) to play the Cougars in a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Neuse Charter won 71-53 in their recent league test against Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC)
