Alrighty Lady Blue Waves we are off to a wonderful district season. Though you faced challenges in a few games and fell short of the victory it is now time to redeem yourselves and take those losses and learn from them. I cannot tell you enough how much I truly believe in you and know how great you are within. It is just a matter of time before you realize your worth and value to the program. I am predicting that your hard work and dedication will not be in vain as you strive to ensure that you have another wonderful basketball season. 8. You are the Best!

    Note posted by MaxPreps Post

The 2016-2017 season will pose a challenge to our team, but without a doubt we can overcome any and all challenges that we are faced with. However, in order to overcome these challenges we must continue work hard and be dedicated to the game and the program. There is no doubt in my mind that we can strive to greatness and reclaim what has always been deemed to be our very best and that is to win the state championship. Again, in order to reach this level of play, we have to do what is needed to achieve such high accolades. With that being said, let us continue to be vigilant, focused, and disciplined in our efforts for success. With every win and loss we must remember that there is always some way to improve offensively and defensively. We must remember that each of us have a role in which we are totally responsible for fulfilling. We must remember that we are a team and it is imperative that we work together to achieve our goal.

  9. Great Season!!!

Although we did not achieve our goal, I enjoyed coaching such a wonderful group of young, inspiring, and dedicated young women. We were faced with many obstacles; however, you took on those challenges and gave every thing you had against some pretty tough competition. This not only showed how dedicated to the game you are, but how much you have matured in the overall race. Special thanks goes out to the graduating senior class: Reagan Tinner (PLAYER OF THE YEAR), J'Nitra Ratliff, and Ravi Holton. Each of you were an instrumental part of this team. But I especially would like to thank Reagan for her leadership role, discipline, dedication and hard work efforts. You are a true lover of the game who respects her teammates. Again, congratulations ladies and I'm looking forward to an even more challenging season next year! Love you all!!!
