Baseball Game Preview: Northern Potter Panthers vs. Cameron County Raiders

Northern Potter is 0-7 against Cameron County since May of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. Northern Potter is taking a road trip to take on Cameron County at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Northern Potter didn't have quite enough to beat Coudersport and fell 8-7.

Meanwhile, Cameron County didn't have quite enough to beat Elk County Catholic on Friday and fell 8-6.

Cameron County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Shaffer, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases Shaffer has posted since back in April of 2024.

Northern Potter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cameron County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Northern Potter might still be hurting after the 16-3 defeat they got from Cameron County when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can Northern Potter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
