Prior to MaxPreps becoming America's source for high school sports in 2006, Bellevue made a name for itself in 2004 when the Wolverines ended De La Salle's vaunted 151-game win streak. In the MaxPreps era, Bellevue has cemented itself as the most dominant football program in the Pacific Northwest's Evergreen State.

Seven state titles and five No. 1 rankings will tend to lend credence to your claim on the title of most dominant. The Wolverines won the state title six years running from 2008-2013, as well as another in 2006. Additionally, Bellevue had runner-up finishes in 2014 and 2015.

That was enough to distance it from Skyline, which has five state titles of its own and seven Top 3 or better finishes.

Here is how the points break down:

1. 20 for a state title

2. 10 for a state championship game appearance

3. Other points are based on where a team finished in the final MaxPreps Washington Football Computer Rankings presented by the Army National Guard. For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall, it would receive 25 points. If it finished 25th overall, the team would get one point. No points are awarded if the team did not finish in the Top 25.
