Oak Grove had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They won by a run and slipped past the Petal Panthers 4-3. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Stratton Farmer looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kendrell Roberts was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Eli Wheat was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

Oak Grove pushed their record up to 25-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Petal, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-10.

Oak Grove will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
