Baseball Recap: North Penn Comes Up Short

North Penn lost to Pennridge on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights fell 6-2 to the Rams. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Isaac Whaley was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, North Penn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bud Murphy, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Jase Hopwood also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

North Penn's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Pennridge, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

While North Penn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
