Softball Recap: Oakland Catholic Takes a Loss

Oakland Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the West Mifflin Titans.

Addi Crummie was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Madison Pullen also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Oakland Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Mifflin, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oakland Catholic is set to face off against their familiar foe Uniontown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Mifflin will take on rival Laurel Highlands at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
