Basketball Game Preview: Benedictine Cadets vs. Poly Engineers

The Benedictine Cadets will take on the Poly Engineers in a holiday battle at at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Benedictine saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of SEED. The Cadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Poly). They enjoyed a cozy 65-49 win over Forest Park on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Engineers with their most commanding win of the season.

Poly's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Benedictine, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
