Basketball Game Preview: Greenwood Eagles vs. Woodmont Wildcats

The Greenwood Eagles just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Woodmont Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Greenwood escaped with a win against T.L. Hanna by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Woodmont was able to grind out a solid victory over Easley on Tuesday, taking the game 40-31.

Woodmont now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Greenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Greenwood strolled past Woodmont in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 46-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greenwood since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
