The Bristol County Agricultural Chieftains waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They strolled past Avon with points to spare, taking the game 43-29. 43 seems to be a good number for Bristol County Agricultural as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Avon's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kylie Mallet, who scored ten points. Hanelie Cadet was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Bristol County Agricultural's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3. As for Avon, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
