It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Heyworth had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Judah Christian Tribe by a score of 2-0. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Tribe walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.

While Heyworth might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Judah Christian scored at least 16 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16.

Lyla Tate was nothing short of spectacular: she had 13 kills, seven digs, two aces, and a block. She has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 12 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Riddle, who had four digs and 22 assists.
