Baseball Recap: Thunder Ridge Comes Up Short

Thunder Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Madison Bobcats, falling 22-10. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-3 loss on Saturday.

Thunder Ridge saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Graham Webb, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Webb has become a key player for the Titans: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-8 otherwise. Easton Carling was another, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Thunder Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Madison, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Thunder Ridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-15 loss against Hillcrest on the 14th. As for Madison, they will venture away from home to take on Century at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
