Basketball Recap: Danbury Takes a Loss

After flying high against Louise on Tuesday, Danbury came back down to earth. The Panthers lost to the Sweeny Bulldogs at home by a 51-35 margin on Saturday. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Danbury's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Sweeny, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Danbury will venture away from home to challenge Bay Area Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sweeny, they will head out to face off against Royal at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
