After a string of four wins, Franklin Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lancaster Christian Academy Knights, falling 86-63. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while the Knights are ranked 135th).

It was another big night for Josh Whitt, who went 16 of 18 on his way to 48 points and eight rebounds for Lancaster Christian Academy. The contest was Whitt's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Anderson Breiner, who went 7 for 9 en route to 18 points.

Franklin Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Lancaster Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Franklin Christian Academy Falcons challenge the Zion Christian Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lancaster Christian Academy, they will face off against Boyd Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
