Basketball Recap: Granada Islamic School Comes Up Short at Home Against Oceana

Granada Islamic School unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Oceana Sharks and fell 57-14. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Oceana's win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granada Islamic School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Apostles Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on January 21, 2025. As for Oceana, they will square off against Burton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oceana is facing Burton at the right time seeing as Burton is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
