Basketball Recap: Glenn Gets the Win

Glenn saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 50-43 victory over the Cummings Cavaliers.

Glenn has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Cummings, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenn will head out to face off against R.J. Reynolds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. R.J. Reynolds knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Glenn likes a good challenge. As for Cummings, they are taking a road trip to take on Chatham Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chatham Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.3 points per game this season.
