Volleyball Recap: Okeechobee Comes Up Short

Okeechobee was the 3-2 winner over Martin County when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Brahmans fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Brahmans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Okeechobee wouldn't go down easily and took Martin County into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-17, 25-21, 24-26, 15-11.

Okeechobee's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Martin County, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Okeechobee will square off against South Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Martin County, they will take on Academy of Central Florida National in a tournament on Friday.
