On Thursday Jesslyn Carlise struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and eight unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). The effort marked the most strikeouts Carlise has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fifth in a row with more than six strikeouts.
