Football Recap: ConVal Takes a Loss

ConVal fell victim to Souhegan and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Sabers 35-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Sabers: they've now lost five in a row.

ConVal's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Souhegan, the victory (which was their sixth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. ConVal will square off against rival Manchester West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Souhegan is set to face off against their familiar foe Stark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
