Charlotte Latin had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Cannon Cougars as they made off with a 10-3 win. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.

Charlotte Latin got a great performance from Graham Blanton as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Blanton has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Charlotte Latin let Jack Bancroft and Jaden Hawa run wild. Bancroft scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Hawa scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Hawa a new career-high in RBI (three). Luka Kadijevic was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Charlotte Latin pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Cannon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Charlotte Latin will host Mountain Island Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cannon, they will head out on the road to challenge the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
