While Edmonds-Woodway's win against Shorecrest wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Scots on Monday.

Edmonds-Woodway secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Cameron Croft, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Edmonds-Woodway is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Shorecrest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-1 record this season.
