Softball Recap: Indiana School for the Deaf Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Indiana School for the Deaf can now relate to. They came up short against the Indianapolis Lutheran Saints on Tuesday, falling 17-4. The Deaf Hoosiers have struggled against the Saints recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Indiana School for the Deaf saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leokadia Saunders, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Indiana School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

Indiana School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, they will take on Tri at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Saints 3.2, the Titans 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
