Volleyball Recap: Newton Comes Up Short

The Newton Cardinals came up short against the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newton's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Gladbrook-Reinbeck, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coincidentally, Newton and Gladbrook-Reinbeck will both be playing Nevada the next time they take the court. The Rebels will head out to face the Cubs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
