Ketcham faced John Jay in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Storm put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Storm, who have now won seven matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

John Esposito tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

Ketcham pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for John Jay, they moved to 17-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
