Basketball Recap: Eureka Starts Season with Victory Against Sparks

Eureka had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 55-36 win over the Sparks Railroaders.

Sparks is on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Eureka won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Yerington at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Sparks, they and Pyramid Lake will face off at 12:15 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
