Softball Recap: Harvest Prep Comes Up Short

Harvest Prep lost against Wellington School back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 16-15. Even if the Warriors couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Harvest Prep is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Wellington School, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Harvest Prep will venture away from home to take on Whitehall-Yearling at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Wellington School, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Berne Union at 5:15 p.m. on the 21st.
